The signature SALT Bento Bag was one of the first pieces crafted for this project, inspired by traditional Japanese textiles and a yearning to live with less.

The Bento Bag is a simple, multi-functional textile designed to ebb and flow with your daily needs. Bento bags can be used for packed lunches, as a cloth bag within baskets or as a home for sentimental objects. Each is hand-cut and sewn using organic cotton and can be made smaller or larger by knotting once or twice.

Celebrating SALT’s original colour palette, these Bento Bags are dyed Moon Blue. A calming grey-blue, created with botanical pigments and minerals.

As each dye bath is unique the tone varies from batch to batch.
